Aims and Scope

Aim Kadim aims to provide an open-access academic platform for "Ottoman History" researchers worldwide to share and discuss their research results. The journal encourages critical perspectives to contribute to the field's literature and carry Ottoman studies to a higher level by publishing articles of historians from different schools. Scope Kadim seeks articles related to the political, legal, economic, diplomatic, social and cultural history of the Ottoman Empire and other subjects related to the same field. The journal welcomes Turkish or English contributions in the form of research and analysis articles, critical editions and translations, book and dissertation reviews.
