Introduction

Simulacra (ISSN: 2622-6952 and e-ISSN: 2656-8721) is an Indonesian peer-reviewed journal in sociology and social sciences. Simulacra is published twice a year (June and November) by the Center for Sociological Studies and Community Development, Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social and Cultural Sciences, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura, Indonesia. Starting from January 2019, Simulacra has been collaborating productively with APSSI (Asosiasi Program Studi Sosiologi Indonesia or Indonesian Sociology Department Association) and ISI (Ikatan Sosiologi Indonesia or Indonesian Sociological Association) for the review and dissemination of its articles. Simulacra has been indexed in these prominent indexing services: DOAJ, Index Copernicus, EBSCO, Google Scholar, SINTA (3), Crossref, Dimensions, Worldcat, Harvard Library, University of Oxford Libraries, Universiteit Leiden, DRJI, Scilit MDPI, PKP Index, ROAD, BASE, Moraref, Columbia University Library, University of Sheffield Library, CORE.

Aims and Scope

Simulacra is a medium of diffusion and exchange of original thoughts, ideas and research findings focusing on the intersectionality studies of social sciences. We are committed to showcasing sociological theory as well as applied sociology, incorporating both quantitative and qualitative research.
