Introduction
Al-Amir, a tri-lingual, Double Blind peer-reviewed, open access Bi-annual Research Journal of Islamic Studies, is launched by Malik Yar Muhammad (MYM) Research Center, Bahawalpur since January 2020. Chief Editor of the journal is Dr. Muhammad Yasir Madni. The journal aims to provide a platform to academic fraternity in the Islamic and Religious Studies around the world for the publication of their scholarly research. Research Journal “Al-Amīr†is published in accordance with the high standards of Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan.
It is devoted, primarily, to the publication of research in diverse fields of Islamic learning, literature, culture and current issues in Islamic discourse and in the history of Muslim world. Research articles on Islam/Religion more broadly, based on Western sources will also be considered for publication in instances where the editors find the material especially relevant to the objectives of the Journal.

AL-Amir is a multi-disciplinary publication dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly study of Islam and of the Muslim world. Particular attention is paid to contributions dealing with the Qur’an, Haadith and Sirah studies, Shariah, Law and Jurisprudence, History and Civilization, Political and Social thoughts, Philosophy, Kalam, Literature, International relations, environmental and developmental lace Islam and the Islamic tradition as its central focus of academic inquiry and to encourage comprehensive consideration of its many facts. Issues as well ethical questions related to scientific research. The journal welcomes the manuscripts dealing with range of areas mentioned above and presenting the reflections useful in global and Pakistani context.
The journal accepts the submissions in three languages (Urdu, English and Arabic). If you are considering submitting an article to the Journal, please take a careful notice of the Journal's requirements about its scope and reference style etc.
Aims and objectives of Al-Amir include:
-to encourage advanced scholarly research on contemporary issues of the modern era, in addition to the traditional approach to various branches of Islamic learning on Islam, which aims at a legitimate Islamic verdict on complex social, individual, and scientific issues.
-to help academic researchers get their writings published in all domains of religious studies in general and Islamic studies in particular.
-to deliver analytical reviews on the latest books and other academic materials.
-to publish articles after the blind peer review process, which is carried out by leading specialists in Islamic & religious studies in order to enhance the Islamic scientific research which addresses the issues faced by our societies.
-to develop diversity, tolerance, and fruitful scholarly discussions among researchers without any ethnic, national, or religious discrimination. So Al-Amir welcomes scholars from around the world to submit their scholarly contributions to our platform.
