Introduction

As Insights of Mystical, Spiritual and Theological Studies (IMSTS) has to publish bilingually (English and Urdu) on monthly bases from April 01, 2023, it welcomes original contributions from various academic fields reflecting the phenomenon of mystery, spirituality and theology in its multiple forms and from multiple perspectives. IMSTS covers a wide range of theoretical and practical issues related to mysteries, spirituality and theology, such as processes of spiritual transformation as reported and described in various traditions of holiness (in Darveshism, Tengrism, Shamanism, Yarsanism, etc.), devoutness (in Islam, Zoroastrianism, Christianity, Judaism, etc.) or yoga (in Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, new religious movements, etc.). The journal publishes research studies (both theoretical and empirical), academic articles, essays and books’ reviews. IMSTS also provides a forum for sharing personal spiritual experiences of spiritual practitioners elaborated in the form of an autobiographical essay or poetry. By combining academic and personal approaches to spirituality, the journal aims at providing an exceptional interdisciplinary platform for constructive dialogue between a variety of viewpoints, approaches, and methodologies in the study of mysticism, spirituality and theology. The third area of the IMSTS focus is to highlight how and why mysticism, spiritualism and theological beliefs are spreading rapidly in the society, and how they can be utilized for personal, interpersonal and social well-being just for the sake of ensuring inter-faith harmony, multiculturalism, and 3Ps (Peace, Progress and Prosperity) in any society. IMSTS is published by the RMR Publishers; an exclusive part of the “Rehmat and Maryam Researches” Registered under the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP).
