Introduction

The Pakistan Journal of History and Culture (PJHC) is a double-blind peer reviewed biannual, open access journal which is being published regularly since 1980 and can be accessed at http: //pjhc. Nihcr. Edu. Pk/. The PJHC is one of the high-quality leading journals in Pakistan. It follows the policy of double-blind peer review and invites at least two blind peer review reports from internationally known scholars for every article before publishing it. The academic team is comprised of committed researchers. We also have an advisory board comprising of international scholars, having excellence in their specific areas. The PJHC has already being indexed in Academic Search Ultimate, The Belt and Road Initiative Reference Source, Academic Search Complete, DRJI Indexing, Historical Abstracts (HAH), Academic Search Premier, MIAR Information Matrix for the Analysis of Journals and WorldCat. The themes of journal include history, culture, politics, economy and Sufism; and is being contributed by national and international authors. We are further trying to enhance our outreach. Preliminary pages of all the previous issues and complete draft of the issues of PJHC since 1980 can be reached at http: //pjhc. Nihcr. Edu. Pk/docs/ by any person on our aforementioned website. In that pursuit, I submit my formal request for the abstracting/indexation of our journal by your internationally recognized institution. All the other required information can be shared on demand.

Aims and Scope

1. To assess and examine the needs and requirements of research in the history and culture of the Muslims of South Asia, Muslim Freedom Movement and the Islamic State of Pakistan; 2. To identify areas or aspects in these fields and conduct research thereon; 3. To coordinate research programmes of various universities and other research bodies in and outside Pakistan and cooperate with the activities and scholarly pursuits of all official and non-official institution engaged in this field; 4. To seek, acquire and preserve source material (private papers, newspapers, rare books, documents and pamphlets, etc.) relevant to the above fields; 5. To arrange interviews with important persons who can recall significant incidents relating to the fields mentioned above and to preserve a record of such conversations for current and further use by historians and scholars; 6. To reprint (with necessary editorial annotations) major and minor classics relating to the fields mentioned above which are now completely unavailable or are very scarce; 7. To make provision for research and advisory services and with these objectives enter into agreements with other institutions or with public bodies under prescribed conditions; 8. To devise and adopt ways and means to further the objectives of the Institute as a body responsible for research in the history and culture of Pakistan; 9. To cooperate with international research organizations, and study Pakistan in wider context of its neighboring countries. 10. To sponsor and commission scholarly works by persona not on the staff of the Institute;
