Introduction
Al-Irfan Research Center (SMC-Private) Limited Lahore, Pakistan launched, “The Al-Asr International Research Journal (AAIRJ)”, in 2020 vide online ISSN 2790-7694, print ISSN 2790-7686 consists of tri-lingual, peer-reviewed, double-blind and open-access research journal. This journal offers a platform for religious scholars and social science experts to publish their scholarly work. It seeks to support the atmosphere of interfaith harmony and world peace. The Al-Asr Research Journal is a great initiative that provides a platform for students, faculty members, and authors to publish their research work on the topics of Islamic Legislation, Islam, and related subjects such as Qur'anic Studies, Hadith Literature, Islamic Philosophy, Islamic Law, Islamic History and Society, Theology, Islamic Thought and Literature, Religious Education, Islamic Art, Islamic Origins, Islamic Civilization, Muslim Societies, Oriental Studies in the Context of Islam and Muslims, Study of Religions, Contemporary Issues, Anthropology of Islam, and Postcolonial Studies, etc. It is an admirable prospect for authors to share their work with the world, and the development of knowledge in the field of Islamic studies in the country. The Journal tries to foster internal as well as external dialogue among Muslims and with those of other faiths, cultures, languages, and races in the fields of the social sciences and humanities in order to inspire an atmosphere helpful to universal peace and understanding for a better world.

Al-Asr International Research Journal of Islamic Studies, Lahore-Pakistan is an Academic Research Journal devoted to Islamic research. It serves as a forum for authors, faculty members, and scholars to write objectively, analytically, and wherever necessary, critically on the Qur’an, Sunnah, Sirah, and Islamic Law and Jurisprudence. This research journal has applied for accreditation by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Al-Asr is a peer-reviewed research Journal that has been published bi-annually for research work, since 2020. Al-Irfan Research Center (SMC-Private) Limited Lahore, Pakistan.
Objectives
The main objective of this Research Journal is to provide a platform for researchers, teachers, and students to share their efforts and circulate their results to promote research in the field of Islamic Studies by providing opportunities for print and online access to quality material for all those who are interested in research regarding religious sciences. Its goal is to highlight Islamic concepts to answer the questions and to find solutions to different issues arising in the modern era in the light of the Qur’an. It aims at defining Islam in terms of its fundamentals in a rational and liberal manner emphasizing at the same time, the basic Islamic ideas of universal brotherhood, tolerance, and social justice.
