Introduction

Gohar-e -Tahqeeq is a double-blind peer reviewed Biannual Urdu research Journal. To promote research, editing and critique in Urdu language and literature, the Department of Urdu is launching Gohar-e-Tahqeeq Urdu Journal, which will arrange for the publication of articles in accordance with the standards and regulations set by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. This will provide opportunities for researchers and critics in the field of research, editing and criticism in the Urdu world to publish articles.

Aims and Scope

Scope and Aims:
Gohar-e -Tahqeeq is a double-blind peer reviewed Biannual Urdu research Journal. To promote research, editing and critique in Urdu language and literature, the Department of Urdu is launching Gohar-e-Tahqeeq Urdu Journal, which will arrange for the publication of articles in accordance with the standards and regulations set by the Higher Education Commission, Pakistan. Gohar-e-Tahqeeq considers all manuscripts, book reviews, review articles and commentaries related to any aspect of Urdu language and literature as well as other languages in the Country. Research and critical works from Language, Linguistics and Literature perspectives are welcomed for submission, however, all submissions must be written in Urdu only. The journal does not entertain any kind of submissions in any languages other than Urdu.

Gohar-e-Tahqeeq will aim to publish quality research work that will be able to enhance the different aspects of Urdu research and criticism. It will be able to be a model research journal, flourishing research culture of Urdu. It will focus on the all modern and classical trends of language and literature that will make it able to meet with challenges of the present era. It will publish a wide range of new topics related to the Urdu work for achieving an excellence of research and criticism. It will also keep the relations of Urdu language & Literature with different cultures and other languages in view, so that it can image the global literary prospectus with all of its dimensions.
