Introduction

Avicenna Journal of Health Sciences is the official quarterly journal of the Avicenna Medical and Dental College, Lahore, Pakistan. It is an open access peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary medical journal that publishes scholarly work quarterly.
It is registered with the Serial Data System of France (ISSN print: 3007-1720: ISSN online 3007-1739. Avicenna Journal of Health Sciences is indexed in the Google Scholar, Pakmedinet , Reviewer Credits, , ASCI (Asian Sciences Citation Index) and Tehqeeqat.
It welcomes original and innovative research articles. It covers the various fields including Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health, Epidemiology, Biological Sciences, and Allied Health Sciences. It offers an opportunity for all healthcare professionals to publish their research work without any financial burden. The Journal accepts , original articles, review articles, case reports/case series, short communications, meta-analysis, systematic review and letter to editor.

Aims and Scope

The Avicenna Journal of Health Sciences (AJHS) is a scholarly peer-reviewed open access journal published on quarterly basis with the aim to provide a platform to researchers for dissemination high quality research conducted in the field of medical and health sciences.

It present the quality research in the form of original research articles , systematic review, meta-analysis, review articles, short communications, case reports, case series, letter to editors, commentary, and student articles from various medical fields, including basic medical sciences, clinical sciences, dentistry, allied health sciences, nursing, medical education, public health, and biomedical sciences. It follows the” Uniform requirements for submission to health sciences journals” laid down by International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE)” It offers an opportunity for all healthcare professionals to publish their research work without any financial burden.
