About Us
The Journal of Islamic & Religious Studies (JIRS) is a double-blind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published bi-annually by the University of Haripur. JIRS - Journal of Islamic and Religious Studies is the research journal of the department of Islamic and Religious Studies at the University of Haripur, established in 2010. The significance of Islamic education has increased to a great extent in the modern-day world. Many religious and spiritual issues have become complex for the ordinary person. Answers to these and many other such problems can only be sought in pure and practical research in Islamic education.

With these vital goals and sacred objectives, the department of Islamic and Religious studies has launched its research journal, JIRS - Journal of Islamic and Religious Studies. JIRS is meant to facilitate its research scholars in creating a comprehensive and global understanding of Islam. JIRS aims to address modern-day issues in light of the actual teachings of Islam. JIRS aims to promote scholarly research on contemporary problems and complexities of the modern-day world in addition to the orthodox research approach. One of the primary aims of the Journal of Islamic and Religious Studies is to develop a close linkage between the intellectuals and the ordinary person of society with the help of scholarly research.
